- The employer will make all deductions from pay required by law. Taxes will be deducted if applicable under Federal, State, and local laws. Any money advances made to employee by employer may be deducted from paycheck. Reasonable repayment for cost of intentional damages to property of employer may be deducted from paycheck. Workers must pre-authorize any voluntary deductions, if applicable. All deductions will comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and applicable state law. No deductions will be made which will bring the employee's hourly wage below the Federal Minimum Wage. Wage offer for H-2A workers only is $9.14 per hour

Descripción del trabajo
General farm work includes: Crop/Crawfish field prep, water maintenance, planting and harvesting of rice and driving tractors; fertilize, spot spray weeds; spraying to maintain vegetation, assist with loading and unloading of rice trucks; must be able to drive vehicles to various farm locations; maintain rice bins including clean up of rice spills, sweeping rice spills/bins. Crawfishing involves manually cutting up of fish bait, bait traps, operate crawfish boat, checking of traps; frequent stooping and lifting traps, load and unload trucks, wash and grade crawfish; repair traps; put out and pick up crawfish traps in ponds; stock crawfish ponds; weigh and tag crawfish. Help repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, levees, farm roads & fences; Performance bonuses associated with performing the job duties may be earned.
