Descripción del trabajo
VanCuren Services, Inc. is a multifaceted company offering tree care and landscaping services to commercial and residential customers, public and private utilities, local governmental agencies and departments, and various municipalities in Lake, Geauga, Portage, Summit, and Cuyahoga counties, OH. Both our landscaping services and tree care part of our business provide a large amount of raw material which we then shred and use to manufacture mulch. The mulch produced as such is then sold in bulk to other landscaping companies, nurseries, or private individuals around NE Ohio. Due to the specifics of our tree care side of our business (with its busiest season during October to March), we grind most of the mulch from October 1st to March 31st, which will allow us to have mulch which is fresh, properly dried and of superior quality for the upcoming landscaping needs of our customers. While in the previous years we needed 6 temporary mulch technicians, who worked in our shop in Newbury, OH ( see H2B-REG-00010834), this year we decreased the number to 5 and filed a new application for certification. Please refer to H2B-REG-00031198 and H-400-26233-184244. After filing the case, we reassessed our needs and realized that during the upcoming 2026/2027 season, we will only need one (1) temporary mulch technician and also, that we will need this individual to be able to join our mobile mulch operation team, which travels, at times, outside our shop in Newbury to locations in Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake and Summit. Due to this material change to the old application, we could not continue with case H-400-26233-184244. We therefore filed a new PWR listing all locations and the request was just processed by your office. As such, using the PWD received on 9/25/2026 from the DOL, we are submitting a new ETA9142B seeking certification for one (1) mulch technician and listing the potential work locations of our mobile mulching team (Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Summit). Previously filed H-400-26233-184244 has been withdrawn.
