Pay deductions:
The employer will make all deductions required by law, including federal, state, and local income taxes (if applicable), and court-ordered deductions such as, but not limited to, child support or garnishments. Additional deductions may include stop-payment or check replacement fees, repayment of overpaid wages, and any other deductions authorized by the worker in writing. The employer will also make voluntary deductions authorized in writing in accordance with state law by the worker and may include, but are not limited to, income tax withholding for H-2A workers upon request, retirement plan contributions, health insurance premiums, loan repayments, cash advances, long-distance telephone charges, data plan costs, and services like internet or cable. Workers who quit or whose employment is terminated for cause before reaching 50% of the contract must reimburse the employer for any advanced or reimbursed travel costs.

Work description

Feed and water livestock and monitor food and water supplies. Herd livestock to pastures for grazing or to scales, trucks, or other enclosures. Examine animals to detect illness, injury, or disease, and to check physical characteristics, such as rate of weight gain. Provide medical treatment, such as administering medications and vaccinations, or arrange for veterinarians to provide more extensive treatment. Mark livestock to identify ownership and grade, using brands, tags, paint, or tattoos. Maintain heated watering system. Segregate animals according to weight, age, color, and physical condition. Clean stalls, pens, and equipment, using disinfectant solutions, brushes, shovels, water hoses, or pumps. Shift animals between grazing areas to ensure that they have sufficient access to food. Maintain growth, feeding, production, and cost records. Groom, clip, trim, or castrate animals, dock ears and tails, or shear coats to collect hair. Drive to town for cattle supplies on occasion.
