- The employer will make all deductions from pay required by law. Taxes will be deducted if applicable under Federal, State, and locallaws. Any money advances made to employee by employer may be deducted from paycheck. Reasonable repayment for cost of intentional damages to property of employer may be deducted from paycheck. Workers must pre-authorize any voluntary deductions, if applicable. All deductions will comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and applicable state law. No deductions will be made which will bring the employee's hourly wage below the Federal Minimum Wage. H2A Workers will be offered no less than $9.14 per hour ($10.42 per hour for Skill Level 1 minus $1.28 per hour for the adverse compensation adjustment) with housing provided

Work description
General farm work includes: help repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, levees, farm roads and fences; field preparation, water maintenance, planting and harvesting of rice; driving tractor, equipment and trucks; fertilize, spot spray weeds; assist with loading and unloading of rice trucks; must be able to drive vehicles to various farm locations; operate and maintain rice bins including cleaning up of rice spills, sweeping rice spills/pins, leveling bins. Crawfishing involves manually cutting up of fish bait, bait traps, operate crawfish boat, checking of traps--traps are removed from the pond, crawfish are emptied into sacks, traps are re-baited and put back in to pond, repair crawfish traps as needed, weigh and tag crawfish, load crawfish in truck to deliver to markets; frequent stooping and lifting traps, load and unload trucks, wash and grade crawfish.
