The employer will pay the highest applicable wage rate required by law. No further deductions should be made.

Work description
Feed, water, and monitor hogs across barn sites, and observe animals for signs of illness or distress; Administer medication and vaccinations and provide hands-on treatment support for sick or distressed animals; Clean and disinfect barns, pens, and equipment, including power wash facilities, with more intensive sanitation required during the winter turnover between outgoing and incoming groups of hogs; Perform barn and yard maintenance tasks specific to winter conditions, including snow and ice removal from walkways, doorways, and equipment areas, and check and service water delivery systems to prevent freezing and maintain consistent animal access to water; Provide bedding to protect animals from cold stress; Load outgoing hogs for market transport and unload incoming groups of feeder pigs as part of the winter barn turnover; Maintain accurate records of feed, medication, and herd health.
