- The employer will make all deductions from pay required by law. Taxes will be deducted if applicable under Federal, State, and local laws. Any money advances made to employee by employer may be deducted from paycheck. Reasonable repayment for cost of intentional damages to property of employer may be deducted from paycheck. Workers must pre-authorize any voluntary deductions, if applicable. All deductions will comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and applicable state law. No deductions will be made which will bring the employee's hourly wage below the Federal Minimum Wage. H2A Workers will be offered no less than $9.14 per hour ($10.42 per hour for Skill Level 1 minus $1.28 per hour for the adverse compensation adjustment) with housing provided.

Work description
Duties may include: manually cutting up of fish bait, baiting traps, operate motorized crawfish boats, traps are removed from the pond, crawfish are emptied into sacks, traps are re-baited and put back into pond, setting traps, picking up traps, stocking ponds, repair crawfish traps as needed, weigh & tag crawfish, wash and grade crawfish, load crawfish in truck to deliver to markets/plants. May also include driving tractor or other equipment, field preparations, planting of rice, fertilizing, assist with loading/unloading rice trucks, must be able to drive vehicle to various farm locations and crawfish plants/markets; spraying to maintain vegetation; maintain rice bins to include clean up rice spills, sweeping rice spills/pins, help repair & maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, levees, and farm roads, water maintenance.
