- Employer will make all deductions required or authorized by laws (e.g., FICA, Medicare, Federal Taxes, state-mandated statutory tax deductions, including court-ordered deductions, etc.). Workers must pre-authorize voluntary deductions, which may include repayment of advances and/or loans, health insurance premiums, retirement plan contributions, and/or payment of other services for worker's convenience and benefit. All deductions will comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and applicable state law. If the worker is responsible for damage to housing and furnishings beyond normal wear and tear, the employer may charge the worker reasonable repair costs. The employer may charge the worker for the reasonable cost of damages and/or replacement of tools and/or equipment if such damage results from the worker's willful misconduct or gross negligence. ------------------------------------

Work description
Perform general livestock care and ranch duties associated with raising and maintaining livestock. Feed and water livestock; herd, move, sort, load and unload animals; and move livestock between pastures and grazing areas. Observe livestock for signs of illness, injury, disease, or other health concerns and report problems to the employer. Assist with routine animal husbandry practices, including branding, ear tagging, castrating, dehorning, and administering vaccinations, medications, and topical insecticides as directed by the employer. Assist with livestock during birthing, including monitoring animals and providing basic assistance when necessary. Clean and maintain livestock pens, corrals, barns, feeding and watering areas, and other animal housing areas. Maintain and make minor repairs to fences, gates, pens, livestock handling equipment, feeding equipment, and other ranch facilities. Perform other general ranch duties directly related to the care and production of livestock. Requires one month of experience working with livestock. Tools and equipment will be provided at no cost. ------------------------------------------------- Realizar tareas generales de cuidado y manejo de ganado asociadas a la crianza y mantenimiento de los animales. Alimentar y dar agua al ganado; arrear, trasladar, clasificar, cargar y descargar animales; y mover el ganado entre pastizales y zonas de pastoreo. Observar al ganado para detectar signos de enfermedad, lesiones, dolencias u otros problemas de salud e informar de cualquier inconveniente al empleador. Colaborar en las prácticas habituales de manejo animal, tales como marcar, colocar crotales, castrar, descornar y administrar vacunas, medicamentos e insecticidas tópicos según las indicaciones del empleador. Asistir al ganado durante el parto, lo que incluye vigilar a los animales y brindar asistencia básica cuando sea necesario.
