- The employer will make the following deductions as applicable: FICA, Federal/State Taxes, court ordered child support, garnishments and liens according to individual circumstances, all as required by law, repayments of cash advances or loans, & repayment of over payment of wages to the worker. Reasonable repair costs of damage to housing caused by willful acts or gross negligence, or any damage to or loss of equipment/tools caused by a willful act or gross negligence will be deducted from workers found to have been responsible for such damage. Other deductions may be made if expressly authorized by the worker in writing.

Work description
Feed, water, herd livestock to pasture for grazing; examine animals to detect disease and injury; Fencing repair and building, water line repair and installation; assist with vaccination of livestock by herding into corral or manually restraining animal on the range; apply medications to cuts and bruises; assist with castration; clip identifying notches on or brand animals. Must be able to ride and handle horse in a manner to assure the safety of worker, co-workers and livestock. Work is performed on the range for more than 50% of the workdays in the contract period. Exposure to extreme temp, repetitive movements, extensive pushing, pulling walking and frequent stooping Involves lifting and carrying of 50 lbs frequently Employer will furnish at no cost, all tools including but not limited to: rope, tack, gloves, veterinary equipment, hand tools, protective gear, bedding etc. as well as effective electronic means of communication (cell phone and 2 way radio) for work and emergency purposes. If worker is in an area where electronic communication will not work, the employer or person designated by employer will contact the worker in regular pre-scheduled visits twice daily. May be required to take post hire random drug and/or alcohol tests, at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination. May be required to submit a post hire employer paid criminal background check. Failure to comply or felony convictions that the employer reasonably believes will impair safety of others on the worksite will result in immediate termination. The hours listed represent the normal work schedule. Due to the nature of the duties and weather it is the prevailing practice to work substantially more, less or different hours than those listed, sometimes for extended periods of time. When the number of hours for a week exceeds the number listed then, the worker may be offered, but not required, to work more hours. Employer may request, but not require, workers to work more than the stated daily hours and/or on the weekend, a worker’s Sabbath or federal holidays. Worker must report to work at designated time and place each day. Daily or weekly work schedule may vary due to weather, sunlight, temperature, crop conditions, and other factors. Employer will notify workers of any change to start time.
