Work description
7710 Granite Loop Road Manager LLC is the local operating entity of Collared Martin Hospitality, a national hospitality management company. We operate the Snake River Lodge and the Alpenhof Lodge resort hotels, along with their on-site restaurants, both located within a one-mile radius in Teton Village, Wyoming, on behalf of our client, the property owner. 7710 Granite Loop Road Manager LLC operates seasonal hospitality properties. Tourism in Teton Village follows two regular, recurring seasonal patterns. The cold season serves skiing and other winter sports enthusiasts and runs annually from late November through mid-April. The warm season serves tourists seeking outdoor recreation and visitors to nearby national parks and runs annually from mid-May through mid-October. Both properties and their on-site food and beverage facilities close entirely for several weeks at the end of each season, when customer demand for lodging and restaurant services declines, in order to prepare the properties for the following busy season. This application is for our cold-weather peak tourist season that starts on November 25, 2026, and ends on April 11, 2027. Accordingly, we have a temporary, seasonal need during the 2026-27 winter tourist season for 14 workers in the position of Server, with the SOC classification of Waiters and Waitresses (SOC 35-3031.00).Teton Village is a seasonal resort community where tourism and hotel occupancy fluctuate in direct response to predictable and recurring weather patterns throughout the year. Our business experiences two separate and distinct periods of regularly recurring seasonal need each yearone during the cold-weather ski season from late November to mid-April and the other during the warm-weather months from mid-May to mid-October. This application is for our cold-weather ski season, from November 25, 2026, through April 11, 2027. We receive workers in preparation for our cold-weather busy season on November 25. In late November, the onset of winter and the opening of the ski terrain at the adjacent Jackson Hole Mountain Resort draw a significant influx of visitors to Teton Village. Tourists travel to the region for skiing, snowboarding, and other winter sports, resulting in a sustained increase in hotel occupancy. Occupancy peaks over the December and February holiday periods and remains elevated into early spring, as continued snowfall and favorable ski conditions support tourism and dining activity. As a result, demand for lodging and on-site food and beverage services increases substantially, requiring the employment of a seasonal workforce. This period of seasonal need ends in mid-April, when the snow melts, visitor numbers and pass-through traffic decline, and the hotel closes to the public as demand drops. Our separate warm-weather season begins in mid-May, when warmer temperatures, longer daylight hours, and the opening of nearby national parks draw a significant influx of visitors to the Grand Teton and Yellowstone areas. During this period, tourists travel to the region for outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, cycling, trekking, and sightseeing, which drives increased occupancy and guest services demand. This summer season continues through mid-October, when visitor numbers and pass-through traffic decline and the property closes in advance of the next ski season. Consistent with these longstanding seasonal patterns, our property fully ceases operations during the period between each annual season of need, maintains no employees in this occupation during those closures, and does not rely on these periods as vacation time for regular staff. Our standard of need is therefore properly classified as seasonal, as it follows predictable annual weather and tourism cycles. (continue in addendum)
