Pay deductions:
The employer will make all deductions from pay required by law. Taxes will be deducted if applicable under Federal, State, and local laws. Any money advances made to employee by employer may be deducted from paycheck. Reasonable repayment for cost of intentional damages to property of employer may be deducted from paycheck. Workers must pre-authorize any voluntary deductions, if applicable. All deductions will comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and applicable state law. No deductions will be made which will bring the employee's hourly wage below the Federal Minimum Wage.

Work description

Temporary, seasonal workers needed for crawfish and rice farm: Job duties include crawfishing in boats, harvesting/catching crawfish, performing crawfishing duties in fields; manually cutting up fish bait, putting out crawfish traps and baiting and checking traps, grading and washing crawfish for shipment; sacking crawfish; stocking crawfish ponds; making repairs to traps as needed; removing traps from pond at end of season. Work in rice fields including field prep, water maintenance; fertilize, plant and harvest crops; driving tractors, equipment and farm trucks; manual shovel work, hoe weeds; spot spray, repair and maintain bins, equip., farm and fences; maintain field levees, roads and shop; load and unload trucks; cut grass; travel between fields required; level rice bins; clean up rice spills at bins.
