Work description
Perform winter farm maintenance work. Fix and repair farm structures. Clean/maintain combine headers including all crop, draper, flex, corn and stripper headers. This would include blowing the headers of, pressure washing, greasing/checking components/belts to prepare for the next harvest season. Clean/maintain combines/tractors/semis including all harvest and farm equipment. This would include blowing off all combines, replacing shields, pressure washing, cleaning interiors, washing windows, greasing/checking components/belts to prepare for the next harvest season. Clean/maintain service trucks used throughout the summer/fall harvest season. This would include blowing off the trucks, pressure washing, cleaning interiors, washing windows, checking tires/oil levels and restoring the service truck tool boxes to harvest ready condition by checking inventories of tools/supplies, getting them in their right place or resupplying as needed. Clean/maintain buildings/shops used for winter maintenance. This would include cleaning tools and benches, sweeping and washing floors, restocking supplies as needed and general upkeep. Remove snow from farm property.
