- Employer will make all deductions required by law. Deductions may include FICA, federal/state tax withholdings, court-ordered child support, garnishments, liens, and other deductions authorized or required by law. Workers must pre-authorize any voluntary deductions. Potential voluntary deductions may include repayment of advances and/or loans, employee health insurance or retirement plan contributions, and/or payment of cell phone, cable/satellite TV, internet or other service(s) for worker's convenience and benefit. Reasonable repair costs of damage to housing other than that caused by normal wear and tear, or loss of equipment/tools will be deducted from workers found to have been responsible for such damage to housing or loss of equipment/tools. Employer will make all deductions in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and applicable state law. Other deductions may be made if expressly authorized by the worker in writing.

Work description
Temporary seasonal workers needed for crawfish farm. Job duties include operating farm equipment, tractor driving, field preparation, water maintenance, manual shovel work, hoe weeds, spot spraying, repair and maintain buildings, equipment, farm, and fences; maintain fields, levees, roads, shop; load and unload trucks; crawfish duties include crawfishing in boats, catching crawfish, performing crawfishing duties in fields; manually cutting up of fish bait, bait and check traps; grade and wash crawfish for shipment, make and repair traps as needed; all tools furnished. Job involves frequent stooping; exposure to extreme temperature; must be able to lift 50 lbs; 1 month experience in similar occupation; random drug screening upon hire (paid for by employer); daily work schedule includes 1 unpaid lunch hour. Base hours offered is 40 hours offered; overtime hours are usually offered during plentiful season and may include an additional 10-40 hours of overtime work depending on the nature of the season; higher wage may be paid based on experience.
