- The employer will make all deductions required by law, including federal, state, and local income taxes (if applicable), and court-ordered deductions such as, but not limited to, child support or garnishments. Additional deductions may include stop-payment or check replacement fees, repayment of overpaid wages, and any other deductions authorized by the worker in writing. The employer will also make voluntary deductions authorized in writing in accordance with state law by the worker and may include, but are not limited to, income tax withholding for H-2A workers upon request, retirement plan contributions, health insurance premiums, loan repayments, cash advances, long-distance telephone charges, data plan costs, and services like internet or cable.

Work description
Duties will include major storm cleanup of farm sheds and removal of fallen branches, debris, vegetation, and other materials from the farm. Cleaning and maintaining vacant, unused areas of the farm by removing weeds, brush, debris, and overgrown vegetation; Surface water drainage work and irrigation system maintenance. Irrigation and surface-water drainage maintenance is required approximately once every four years and is performed exclusively between December 1 and March 15. These activities are not annual or semi-annual duties and are not performed outside this period because doing so would interfere with the employer’s regular farming operations. Workers may use hand tools and power tools to perform these duties. Inform farmers or farm managers of the clean-up process. Load debris into trucks or dumpsters. Move debris using wheelbarrows. Work may be performed outdoors in varying weather conditions and may require pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, digging, and performing other physically demanding agricultural labor. No CDL required and no commercial truck driving required.
