Pay deductions:
Reasonable repair costs for damage caused by deliberate or negligent destruction, other than that resulting from normal wear and tear, may be deducted from the worker's pay. This includes damage to housing, furnishings, tools, or equipment, provided it can be shown that the shortage, breakage, or loss was caused by a dishonest or willful act or by the gross negligence of the employee. Applicable federal or state taxes and wage garnishments required by law may also be deducted. The employer may make voluntary deductions at the worker's request for items not required to perform the job, such as TV, nointerest cash advances, non-work-related medical expenses, etc. The employer will provide Wi-Fi at no cost to the worker. No deductions for the benefit of the employer that would reduce the worker’s hourly wage below the federal minimum wage will be made

Work description

Operate heavy trucks and tractor-trailer equipment to transport grain, fertilizer, seed, and other agricultural materials in support of farming and custom agricultural hauling operations. Duties include: Transport grain from fields to grain elevators, storage facilities, receiving facilities, and other locations. Transport fertilizer, seed, and other agricultural inputs to farms and fields. Perform custom agricultural hauling for agricultural producers and businesses. Load, secure, transport, and unload agricultural commodities and materials. Inspect vehicles and equipment and perform routine maintenance checks. Maintain required transportation, delivery, mileage, and inspection records. Follow assigned routes, schedules, and applicable safety requirements. Report vehicle, equipment, or safety issues to the employer. Communicate with farm personnel, customers, grain facilities, and other personnel as needed. Perform other related agricultural transportation and hauling duties as assigned. Work schedules and duties may vary based on weather, crop conditions, planting and harvest schedules, grain volumes, customer needs, and other agricultural requirements. Extended hours, weekends, and holidays may be required during peak agricultural periods.
