Work description

LEMON PRESS FLORIDA LLC DBA LEMON PRESS MARKET 4110 Enterprise Avenue Naples, Florida 34104 STATEMENT OF NEED FOR TEMPORARY COOKS Requested Period: December 1, 2026 May 30, 2027 Number of Temporary Workers Requested: Four (4) Cooks To Whom It May Concern: Lemon Press Florida LLC, doing business as Lemon Press Market (Lemon Press Florida), respectfully submits this statement in support of its request to employ four (4) temporary full-time Cooks under the H-2B temporary nonagricultural worker program for the period of December 1, 2026, through May 30, 2027. Lemon Press Florida is a newly established catering operation located at 4110 Enterprise Avenue, Naples, Florida 34104, in Collier County, Florida. The company is an extension of the Lemon Press Market business and is being established to provide catering and food-service operations in the Naples and surrounding Southwest Florida market. The business will provide prepared food and catering services for private parties, corporate functions, gatherings, seasonal events, and other customer orders requiring professional food preparation and production. Seasonal Demand in the Naples Market The need for temporary Cooks is directly related to the seasonal nature of the Naples hospitality and tourism market. Naples and the surrounding Collier County area experience a significant increase in visitors, seasonal residents, private events, hospitality activity, and food-service demand during the winter and spring months. Recent tourism data demonstrates the strength of this seasonal market. The Naples, Marco Island and Everglades tourism region reported approximately 1.516 million visitors and more than 11.09 million visitor days during FY 2026 year-to-date, representing a 3.3% increase in visitors and a 7.8% increase in visitor days compared with the prior year. Direct visitor spending also increased by approximately 5.2%. The broader NaplesMarco Island hospitality industry also represents a substantial employment sector, with approximately 34,300 leisure and hospitality employees reported in May 2026. These conditions demonstrate the importance of the hospitality and food-service industry to the local economy and the increased demand for food preparation and catering services during the winter and spring season. The Naples market also supports numerous catering and event-food businesses, including catering companies operating within the 34104 area. This reflects an active market for private events, corporate functions, prepared meals, and catered gatherings. Reason for Requesting Four (4) Temporary Cooks As a new catering operation, Lemon Press Florida must establish its production capacity to meet the anticipated demand during the upcoming winter and spring catering season. The company anticipates that catering orders will require simultaneous preparation of multiple menu items, including appetizers, entres, side dishes, salads, desserts, and other food products. The requested four (4) Cooks will perform essential food-production duties, including: Preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes and customer orders; Preparing ingredients, sauces, meats, vegetables, salads, and other food products; Cooking food in appropriate quantities for catering orders and events; Assisting with large-volume food preparation; Maintaining proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen procedures; Preparing food for delivery and off-site catering events; Assisting with the setup and production of catered meals when required; Maintaining clean and organized food-preparation areas and equipment; and Performing other customary duties associated with the position of Cook in a catering operation. Four Cooks are necessary because catering production is not limited to the preparation of individual meals. A single catering order may require the simultaneous preparation of multiple menu items and large quantities of food within strict delivery and event deadlines. The c
